The HITECH Act and CCHIT Certification

The HITECH Act gives incentive payments for “eligible professionals” for implementation of a certified Electronic Health Record. EMR-Bear will be certification ready, which means that as a EMR-Bear subscriber, you may be eligible for stimulus money as early as 2011. EMR-Bear meets current stimulus package reimbursement criteria by offering the following functionality:

  • Electronic Prescription capabilities.
  • Electronic exchange of health records among providers.
